About Eagle Valley Cafe

Walking into Eagle Valley Cafe feels like being let in on a local secret that everyone somehow already knows. I usually introduce it as one of those easygoing spots where you can slow down without trying, tucked at 1130 Hiawatha Dr W in Wabasha, Minnesota, and instantly welcoming whether you’re stopping by for a quick bite or settling in to actually enjoy your meal. Eagle Valley Cafe has that comfortable restaurant vibe where the coffee is always part of the conversation and the menu leans into comfort food while still leaving room for healthier options when you’re in that mood. What I love pointing out is how flexible it is, because you can dine in and soak up the relaxed atmosphere, grab takeaway when your day is packed, or even choose delivery when staying put makes more sense. The food itself feels familiar in the best way, like dishes made to satisfy without being complicated, and that balance makes it easy to recommend to just about anyone. There’s a simplicity here that works, especially when you’re craving something warm, filling, and dependable, yet not heavy. Coffee lovers appreciate that it’s not an afterthought, and people looking for a quick lunch notice how smoothly everything moves. I often tell friends that Eagle Valley Cafe is the kind of place you remember after your first visit, not because it’s flashy, but because it feels honest and consistent. It fits neatly into everyday routines while still feeling like a small treat, whether you’re local or just passing through Wabasha. Introducing this restaurant is easy, since it naturally checks the boxes of comfort, convenience, and approachability, making it a solid choice for casual meals and spontaneous plans alike. I also like mentioning how it works for mornings, afternoons, and those in-between moments when decisions should be simple and satisfying, giving people a reliable option that feels friendly, unpretentious, and easy to return to again.

This is not a fancy restaurant but the absolute place to go if you want a great breakfast and friendly, efficient service. We like strong, light roast coffee and would probably wait on the beverage and head down to the many coffee shops after enjoying our breakfast here.

Hot, fresh and tasty! Burgers were seasoned to perfection served with plenty of fries. To quote my daughter "best apple pie ever" that was topped with homemade whipped cream! We will definitely be back.

Just picked this cafe on the way to the Eagle Center. I had the Denver Omelet. It was one of the best omelets I have had. I wish there were more cafes like this. Prices are the same as any place else, but the quality is better. Would come back again when areound the area.

Great food with a small town feel (because it is a small town). Cash/Check only so, stop at the ATM before you arrive.

Just a great little cafe to stop at. We had an omelette with hash browns and homemade white toast. The omelette was delicious. The hasbrowns were made perfectly. The homemade white buttered toast just melted in your mouth. We also had pancakes and coffee. The pancakes were plate size and great coffee with plenty of refills. I also got the blueberry rhubarb bread pudding to go which is a huge portion. Our waitress was very friendly and efficient (refilled our coffees numerous times). We had our order taked in no time and our food arrived shortly after. Very happy we stopped at this little gem right off the road

Friendly, attentive service, with good food. A $16 omelette seemed high, but prices are probably typical for the area. I'd stop again.
